Story

Salmagundi means "a general mixture; a miscellaneous collection." We used a different dyed color for each panel. This one is a Homage to the Paris Dakar Rally.

For this design, we took our inspiration from patchwork and quilting, in the West, or Boro and sashiko in Japanese garments. Both are practices that start with disparate fabrics, often remnants and create new designs by recombining them in original and unexpected ways.

Please note that because they start with remnants, each small batch has a slightly different color pattern. However, the first product pics represent the current colorway

Care Instructions

Wash whites and dark colors separately in cold water.
Wash inside out and zipped up.
Do not tumble dry. Hang and dry instead.
Do not bleach, dry clean or iron.
Do not use softeners, washing powders and avoid big commercial detergents.
Do use enzyme-free detergents like Seventh Generation, Trader Joes or LeBlanc.
