Dakar Salmagundi Bibs

Salmagundi means "a general mixture; a miscellaneous collection." We used a different dyed color for each panel. This one is an Homage to the Paris Dakar Rally.

For this design, we took our inspiration from patchwork and quilting, in the West, or Boro and sashiko in Japanese garments. Both are practices that start with disparate fabrics, often remnants, and create new designs by recombining them in original and unexpected ways.

Please note that because they start with remnants, each small batch has a slightly different color pattern. However, the first product pics represent the current colorway

Reflective heat-transfer decals for even more style; Reflective "Moto", Ostroy on right leg. Soft lay-flat printed bib straps. Long-distance comfort pad to stay fresh until the finish.
