The Paris-Nice is a hundred-year-old bike race. The event is nicknamed The Race to the Sun, as it runs in the first half of March, typically starting in cold and wintry conditions in the French capital before reaching the spring sunshine on the Côte d’Azur. The quality of the light and shadow seems to change dramatically every day as the race trades the gray skies of Paris for the green hills and sunny beaches of Provence. It is that shifting light and color and a new set of watercolors that serve as inspiration for this design.
